The Nightstick XPR-5580G VIRIBUS 80 dual-light rechargeable lantern is IECEx and ATEX certified as intrinsically safe for zone 0 (gas) hazardous areas.

The XPR-5580G also suits emergency services and firefighters, meeting the National Fire Protection Association's NFPA 1971-8.6 standard for lighting and illumination.

The XPR-5580G provides an LED output of up to 300 lumens and an emergency / survival mode run time of 65 hours from a lithium-ion battery (included).

A rugged AC / DC snap-in charger locks the torch in place for secure charging on the move, and meets the requirements of National Fire Protection Association's NFPA 1901-14.1.10.2 when mounted in any position.

An extended beam distance of 635m cuts through smoke and illuminates distant objects.

A piercing intensity of 101,000cd ensures a long reaching, ultra bright light source.

A 90 degree downward angled floodlight shows trip hazards and the path ahead.

Rear green "follow me" safety lights provide added visibility in smoke-filled environments.

Dual, glove-friendly body switches control separate LEDs and provide a choice of modes:

• Flashlight / Spotlight:
Concentrated beam for distance and penetration. High mode (210 lumens), medium mode (100 lumens) or low / survival mode (30 lumens) for 65 hours of emergency light.
• Floodlight:
Downwards 90 degree beam illuminates the ground below and ahead. High mode (200 lumens), medium mode (100 lumens) or low / survival mode (30 lumens) for 65 hours of emergency light.
• Dual-light:
Combined flashlight (forward) and floodlight (downward) beams provide maximum illumination and safety (300 lumens).

Designed for harsh industrial workplaces and extreme conditions, the rugged XPR-5580G is built from ultra tough nylon polymer.

The lantern carries an IP67 dust and submersion proof rating, and is drop tested to 2m.

The XPR-5580G floats in water and is chemical, heat and impact resistant.

At 21cm long and weighing only 936g with battery, the XPR-5580G is compact, comfortable and easy to transport.

The included shoulder / carry strap features a quick release buckle to safely resolve any entrapment or snagging issues.
