A Rugged and Reliable Device Communicator

The Emerson AMS Trex is designed to withstand the harsh conditions in and around manufacturing facilities. A rugged housing copes with the abuse of harsh working environments and the knocks and shocks of every day industrial use. The Trex communicator is IP54 rated against dust and water, and will comfortably operate in extreme temperatures from -20 to +55C. The sturdy exterior is designed in accordance with intrinsic safety standards to limit the build-up of static electrical energy. The soft carry case features a window for easy access and contains pockets with space for a charger, leads sets and other tools you need to carry.

The Trex communicator is designed for comfortable, one-handed, all-day operation in the field. An evenly-balanced form factor and rugged hand strap ensure it's easy to hold and operate, even in tight spaces. 32GB of application memory provides space for customisation with your choice of apps. USB and wi-fi connectivity lets you download or upload data easily. A robust lithium-ion power module keeps the Trex running over a full shift, even when powering other devices in the field.

Touchscreen Display for the Field

The Trex features a 5.7" resistive touchscreen display that is designed for use with bulky work gloves. The adjustable backlit screen adapts to dark or bright environments, ensuring a display that can be read no matter the conditions.

There's An App for That

The Upgrade Studio PC application keeps the Trex up-to-date with new software and apps. Upgrade Studio let you add critical diagnostic tools to your toolkit and push them out to any number of Trex communicators. With multiple apps available and many more in development, Upgrade Studio will make the Trex communicator your go-anywhere, do-anything device:

• Field Communicator - Access a wide range of options for configuring and troubleshooting HART and FOUNDATION Fieldbus devices.
