The Tab-Ex Pro hazardous area tablet is the first Android tablet to offer a 10.1 inch screen with Zone 2 certification. The Tab-Ex Pro is built for a full day of work with a single charge affording up to 15 hours of operation from the 7600 mAh battery. Dual 5MP front and 13MP rear cameras allow capture of images, video and enable augmented wireless streaming applications. Additionally, the Tab-Ex Pro is equipped with a programmable button to enhance routine functions e.g. for fast and effective emergency call response. With a screen incorporating wet touch and S pen capabilities, the upgraded Tab-Ex Pro provides even greater flexibility of use to mobile workers in oil, gas, refining, chemical, pharmaceutical and other hazardous industries.
Integration of Samsung DeX, allows the user to dock this device with a larger screen, keyboard and mouse via the Mulitport DeX Adaptor for a complete desktop experience when they return to the office. Lightweight and compact, the Tab-Ex Pro is suitable for multiple mobile worker roles including asset surveys, material tracking, operator rounds, inspection and maintenance activities.
