The Dakota MX2-DL A/B scan ultrasonic corrosion thickness gauge replaces the discontinued Dakota MVX and Elcometer CG70ABDL models.
The MX2-DL is versatile, powerful and customisable. Features include:
The MX2-DL provides flexibility and saves valuable time in the field when testing different materials.
Calibration can be manually set to material velocity or thickness. Alternatively, a comprehensive list of common material types on the gauge enables quick and easy automatic calibration.
A choice of display modes and set-ups provides customised interfaces for different users.
A high speed scanning mode of 250 readings per second displays the minimum thickness measured over larger test areas.
A differential mode displays any +/- variance from a fixed base value.
An alarm mode provides audible and / or visual alerts when readings fall outside defined high or low tolerance levels.
Onboard data logging adds a 4GB internal memory. Recorded readings and waveforms can be viewed and edited on the MX2-DL or transferred via USB.
The probe frequency and diameter can also be adjusted to increase linearity and reading accuracy.
For long-term or continuous use, the MX2-DL can be powered by the included USB-C to USB-A cable / power adapter.
A rugged, water resistant, sealed aluminium casing means the MX2-DL is built to withstand everyday use in heavy duty, industrial workplaces.
The MX2-DL is ready to operate straight out of the box and is backed by Dakota's 2 years limited warranty.
