The Crystal XP2i is an intrinsically safe digital test gauge certified for Zone 0 (gas) hazardous areas.
It offers pressure ranges from vacuum to 1,000 bar with up to 0.02% accuracy and 0.0001 bar resolution.
Optional data logging records 32,000 points at up to 4 samples per second.
Every XP2i includes an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited (NATA equivalent) calibration report with data at 5 points across the -10 to +50°C temperature compensated range.
XP2i gauges are certified as intrinsically safe to IECEx, ATEX and CSA equipment schemes.
They are compliant with CE Electromagnetic Compatibility and Pressure Equipment Directives, and Australia Radiocommunications (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Standard 2008.
The XP2i is also approved as a portable marine test instrument in compliance with Det Noriske Veritas Rules for Classification of Ships, High Speed & Light Craft and Offshore Standards.
The XP2i measures from vacuum to 15,000psi / 1,000 bar with 0.02% laboratory reference grade accuracy and precise 0.001psi / 0.0001 bar resolution.
The XP2i's recommended calibration interval is one year, although exceptional long-term stability means lab tolerance adjustments are often not required.
Automatic calibration reminders and alerts ensure safety and compliance, and an XP2i can be locked if the recalibration date has passed.
An internal 7/16"-20 medium pressure female thread adapts to a wide number of device and process connections using fittings and hoses from Crystal’s CPF range.
An interchangeable 1/4” NPT, G1/4” BSP or M20 x 1.5mm adapter is included as standard and helps to protect the XP2i’s connection port from everyday wear and tear.

XP2i gauges are trusted worldwide by any business or industry with a need for reliable, high-accuracy pressure testing and calibration.
Intrinsically safe and globally certified for use in Zone 0 hazardous areas, the rock-solid XP2i operates dependably in the most extreme working environments on earth.
The XP2i is found throughout all industries including energy, resources, oil, gas, chemicals, processing, manufacturing, civil and engineering.
XP2i gauges are regularly used in hydrostatic pressure testing, pressure safety valve testing, wellhead monitoring, sensitive equipment calibrations and long-term data recording applications.
The XP2i is also regularly employed as a high precision reference standard in accredited calibration laboratories around the world.
Yes. The XP2i is IECEx certified as intrinsically for use in Zone 0 hazardous areas where flammable gases or vapours are likely to exist under normal operating conditions.
This makes it suitable for many high-risk environments with potentially explosive atmospheres such as off-shore platforms, oil refineries, petrochemical plants and gas processing facilities.
Yes. Every XP2i gauge is Ex-certified as intrinsically safe and non-incendive for use in Zone 0 (gas) and Class I, Division 1 hazardous areas according to the following equipment schemes and systems.
Yes, and then some. Every XP2i gauge is supplied with a NATA equivalent, A2LA endorsed, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration report to ensure compliance for regulated industrial use across Australia.
NATA and A2LA are both signatories to the ILAC mutual recognition arrangement (MRA), which is a global agreement that recognises these organisations as equivalent and accredited to the same international standards.
The XP2i’s initial calibration certificate also includes data at five temperature points between -10 and +50°C, improving on the single ambient temperature data provided with standard NATA certification.
Yes. Intrinsic safety, accuracy to 0.02% and resolution to 0.0001 bar make the XP2i the perfect go-anywhere pressure test and calibration tool for devices in hazardous areas, out in the field, on the bench or in the lab.
Yes. With Ex ia / Zone 0 (gas) intrinsic safety, the XP2i is designed, manufactured and certified for any oil and gas pressure testing or calibration application.
Also carrying an IP67 protection rating, the rugged XP2i is dust-proof and immersion-proof, and performs comfortably in the harshest environments and workplaces.
Standard accuracy is 0.1% of reading.
Full scale accuracies of 0.05% and 0.02% are also available.
Maintaining accuracy across wide pressure and temperature ranges, one XP2i can replace multiple conventional gauges - saving on equipment, maintenance and calibration costs while streamlining efficiency and lightening your tool bag!
Yes. DataLoggerXP firmware upgrade can be added to any new or existing XP2i gauge, providing internal recording for 32,000 data points and adjustable sample frequencies from 4 times per second to once every 18 hours.
DataLoggerXP will record averages, peaks, or simply the pressure reading; perfect for high-accuracy pressure to vacuum transitions, process or environmental monitoring, leak detection or sterilization processes.
Find out more about DataLoggerXP upgrade on our online store here.
Yes. With a dual-line display the XP2i can simultaneously show live pressure plus leak rate, tare or peak values.
It will also show differential pressure when connected to a second unit.
