The Intrinsically Safe RSM-Ex 01 is the latest generation of Remote Speaker Microphone, certified for use in gas, dust and mining environments. A rugged IP67 rating fully protects the RSM-Ex 01 from Immersion and dust ingress.
The device includes Push to Talk and optional SOS/Man Down button for emergencies, which is easy to operate even while wearing gloves. The RSM-Ex 01 connects to wide number of devices using a 3.5mm jack and a range of headphone plug options, including a secure safety screw designed for the zone 1 hazardous area certified Ecom Smart-Ex 02 DZ1 Smartphone and future products.
With a volume of up to 103dB and built in noise reduction, the RSM-Ex 01 enables clear and reliable communication in noisy industrial workplaces. The powerful Li-Ion battery will provide up to 78 hours of operation. The RSM-Ex 01 comes IOT Ready and NFC Technology is built in.
