Dakota PR-9 Sonic Test is designed for the automotive and racing industry. It is commonly used to measure the thickness of cylinder walls, head ports, decks, chassis tubing, body panels, and windshields and is able to locate blind surface corrosion or deterioration.

The PR-9 has high speed scanning feature which takes 100 measurements per second to save time when scanning a complete cylinder and includes three material calibration options (single point, two point, and target velocity) for increased accuracy.

Like all Dakota gauges, the PR-9 is portable, lightweight and easy to use.
