The intrinsically safe Smart-Ex 02 camera is IECEx certified for use in gas and dust hazardous areas. Front and rear cameras allow you to take high resolution images and full HD video in the most demanding industrial workplaces.
Based on Smart-Ex 02 Android smartphone, the camera features a pre-installed "kiosk mode" that allows only the camera functions to be used. USB connectivity is provided but no additional features are available.
Locking down access and functionality in this way increases safety and security, and prevents users from installing unauthorised apps or changing system settings.
Alternatively, we can also provide a customised feature set if additional functionality is required. Approved apps can be installed, system settings can be altered and all other functions such as 4G or wi-fi connectivity can be enabled to allow communication, internet access, video streaming, conferencing or file sharing.
