The Loc-Ex 01 beacons use the Bluetooth 4.0 standard and popular iBeacon protocol to interface with smartphones and tablets so that they can be recognised by these devices from a distance of up to 200 m. The beacon signals can be evaluated by the mobile device via individual applications and, in this way, interact with the user or other programs.

The Loc-Ex 01 beacons can be mounted directly on a suitable surface or easily adapted on the optional available mounting plate (which facilitates easy battery exchange).A full SDK is also available for application developers.
