Dakota Ultrasonics manufacture industrial ultrasonic testing equipment for petrochemical, aerospace, automotive and allied industries.

Their thickness gauges are used for determining the thickness of a variety of materials with or without coatings. Very fine flaw detectors are capable of isolating very fine pits, flaws and porosity in material without the need for destructive testing. The range includes units capable of automatically calibrating themselves to the material being tested and features such as area scanning, onboard datalogging and limit alarms to enhance the testing process. The gauges are hand held feature full aluminium cases to withstand many years of use. In fact Dakota are so sure of their instruments performance they carry a standard 5 year warranty.

In addition to the Thickness Gauges, Dakota have also released a range of Bolting products. For critical applications where extreme accuracy is needed these devices can allow accurate measurement of the stress, elongation and load in threaded fasteners.
