Crystal Engineering manufactures some of the world's highest accuracy portable pressure measuring equipment. Their products are highly compact, rugged enough to suit almost any application, and very accurate. Using unique pressure sensing technology their calibrators and gauges are rated to percent of reading accuracy as well as being fully temperature compensated. This means any one of their digital pressure gauges, or pressure calibrators, can replace several ordinary gauges or competitive calibrators.

The core technology is based on MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) pressure transducers. These silicon based sensors are highly repeatable, but sensitive to temperature, and somewhat non-linear. Combine silicone pressure sensors with digital signal processing techniques, and the result is very accurate pressure measuring equipment that’s very linear, and not affected by temperature.

In addition, most of the Crystal product line are certified as intrinsically safe for use in hazardous area's with approvals to Cenelec and the new international IEC-Ex standards. Crystal Engineering gauges and calibrators can be found at work in petrochemical refineries, power generating stations, gas pipelines and off-shore oil platforms.
